「空」の意味とは？

「空」はまず「そら」って読んで、頭の上にある青いあれ、skyのことだよ。「今日の空がきれいだね」とか「空を見上げた」みたいに使う、わりとシンプルな言葉。
でも「から」とも読めて、そっちは「中に何もない」って意味になるんだ。たとえば「このペットボトル、もう空だよ」って言ったら、中が空っぽってこと。「空の箱」とか「空っぽ」って言い方もよく聞くよ。
