A message from the maker

Hi! I built Hey Dictionary to help myself learn languages both effectively and enjoyably.

Right now I'm learning Chinese, and it's really helping me. Because every explanation is written in the language I'm studying, it naturally forces me to read in that language. This has increased my comprehensible input enormously.

It may feel like a hard work to read in the language you are learning, but it's actually a lot of fun! Just do not try to understand every text in it. Just try to get the general idea. Then, it feels more like a guessing game.
